With 25 out of the 26 House of Assembly seats already secured, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is poised to win Osun State in its entirety once more.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the results of the Boripe/Boluwaduro State Constituency as inconclusive, according to a DailyPost report.
According to the results so far released, the PDP won the Ifelodun Constituency. Tajudeen Akinlolu Adeyemi of the PDP received 16,184 votes to defeat Mulikat Abiola Bello of the APC, who received 7, 460 votes.
Adewumi Babajide Kofoworola of the PDP won the Ede North State Constituency with 17530 votes, defeating Abdulquadri Suleiman of the APC with 9,010 votes.
By garnering 13261 votes to Wale Adedoyin’s 6392 in Ilesa West, Wale Akerele of the PDP triumphed over him.
Prince Kashope Abolarin of the PDP polled 5416 votes to defeat his rival from the APC who scored 2939 votes in Ifedayo State Constituency.
Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye of the PDP received 11691 votes in the Ife Central State Constituency, while his opponent from the APC received 8997.
11383 votes were cast in favor of PDP candidate Abidemi Akinyode, while 5313 were cast in favor of APC’s opponent.
Other state seats won by the PDP include Ife South, Ife East, Modakeke Area Office, Oriade, Ika, Ejigbo, Ayedaade, Irewole/Isokan, Irepodun/Orolu, Olorunda, and Osogbo.
