Dr. Ify Aniebo Rhodes-Vivour, the spouse of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the candidate of the Labour Party for governor of Lagos State, has responded to a video in which MC Oluomo advises Lagos residents who won’t vote for Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the candidate of the Lagos State APC, to stay at home on election day.
In a video that was shared online, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the president of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, was heard urging voters not to cast ballots for any other candidates.
He uttered the following:.
“Iya Chukwudi, sidon for your house o if you know you don’t want to vote for us. “.
for a while.
Ify Aniebo Rhodes-Vivour responded via her Twitter account, asserting that MC Oluomo’s “state backing” allows him to confidently threaten voters. She urged the governor of Lagos State to order “his thugs”.
She posted a video of Oluomo threatening voters and wrote:-.
The fact that he has the support of the state allows him to confidently threaten voters. Despite the fact that he has previously been seen on video threatening voters, he has not yet been taken into custody.
call your thugs to order, @jidesanwoolu. Not a dictatorship, but a democracy.
@BenHundeyin, do your job.
