Adamu Garba, a leader and former candidate for president of the All Progressives Congress, has criticized Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the candidate of the Labour Party for governor of Lagos State, for not taking off his cap and shoes when he visited Oba of Lagos Rilwan Akiolu at his Palace on Thursday.
Adamu shared a photo of himself at the Oba’s palace on his Twitter account with the following caption:.
Even I, a Fulani, took off my cap and shoes to pay respects at the palace of the Ooni of Ife. Tradition dictates that.
But Obidient surrogate in Lagos entered the palace of the Oba of Lagos wearing his shoes. Sanwo will win, but he can waste time if he likes, according to Oba, who is punctual.
