Atiku is emulating Buhari’s economic strategy, claims Lai Mohammed

Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is allegedly mimicking the economic strategy of the government led by President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture.

On Thursday, Mohammed made the assertion in conversation with newsmen at the national press center in Abuja.

He asserts that only the Federal Government is capable of comprehending the design that Atiku claims to be his own.

Atiku recently discussed his economic plan during a speech in Lagos.

Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president and presidential candidate for the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, spoke about his economic blueprint during a gathering in Lagos last week, according to Mohammed. Let me start by saying that the so-called blueprint is an amateurish attempt to copy everything that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has accomplished, particularly in the areas of job creation, infrastructure financing, relationships with the private sector, revitalization of the power sector, reduction of poverty, debt management, and overall management of the economy.

The minister said, “But what’s more astounding is that the opposition, which has criticized everything this administration has done, is now weaving their phony Economic Blueprint around the very same things.”

“This administration knows it better than anyone else.”

Anyone who uses this as a campaign stunt without acknowledging what we’ve already accomplished, in his opinion, is being cheap and dishonest.
