Enhanced Educational System: Polytechnic Set To Impound & Suspend Students With Car, Indecent Hair Look, Tattoo Among Others

Considering the high rise in decline to our educational system in Nigeria, a Federal Polytechnic in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State has released new guidelines that will curtail the excess of students of their institution.

This communique was based on the meeting of the governing council of the school held on thursday 17th March, 2022 and to sanctions Students who violate any of the new laws. This include the the use of car by any student in the school environment or any form of indecent dress code among others.

The Federal Polytechnic according to an internal memo released on the 22nd April, 2022 vows to impound use of any kind of car and that such Students will be suspended for one semester. 
 
The school also promised to suspend Students caught with coloured hair, dreadlock, crazy hair styles by any students, tattered jeans, tottos, mouth/nose or eye rings are also prohibited from the school environment. Diffrent punishments ranging from 1-2 semester suspension are attached. 
Also nursing mothers and pregnant students are are banned from school hostels. Bringing of babies to classes is also not allowed according to the new laws. 
Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti is joining other higher institutions in Nigeria who has in recent times gave guidelines for dress code of students in schools.
